The Yapflo board
The board is the main way a client interacts with you. Every client gets one permanent board at yapflo.com/b/<your-id>/<client-name>. They keep it; you don't need to send a new link each time.
What the client sees
When a client opens their board, they see:
- A big record button to drop a new yap any time.
- A thumbnail strip of the yaps they've already sent, so they don't repeat themselves.
- Your name and avatar at the top, so they know whose board they're on.
There's nothing for them to install. The board works in their phone's browser.
What the producer sees
Every yap a client drops on their board lands in your Inbox, tagged with the client's name and transcribed automatically. Open the client page in Yapflo to see all their yaps, the board link, and a Copy button.
One-off recording links
If you only want one specific yap (not an open-ended board), click New yap link on the client page. That generates a single-use recording link tied to one prompt.
What's different:
- The client only sees the prompt — not the rest of their board.
- The link is good for one yap. After they send, it's done.
- The yap still lands under that client in your Inbox.
Use the board when the client will be sending yaps on an ongoing basis. Use a one-off recording link when you want a single, scoped reply to a specific question.
The capture flow
Whichever link you send, the recording flow is the same:
- Client taps the link on their phone or laptop.
- Yapflo asks for camera and mic permission (one-time per device).
- They record. They can re-record before sending.
- They tap Send. The yap uploads to your Inbox.
What happens if I delete the client?
The board and any outstanding one-off links stop working immediately, but yaps already in your Inbox stay. If you want to keep the yaps but stop accepting new ones, archive the client instead — that closes the board without touching history.
