Closing a board, killing a link
Every Yapflo board can be revoked, every one-off recording link can be killed, and every yap in your inbox sticks around based on your plan's retention window.
What happens to a one-off link after it's used
Once a client records and sends on a one-off recording link, the link is done. If they (or you) reopen it later, the page just says "Nothing to do here" — the request has been fulfilled.
If the link is never used, it eventually expires on its own.
Inbox retention
Every video that lands in your inbox stays in your account based on your plan's retention window:
| Plan | Yaps stay in inbox for |
|---|---|
| Free | 14 days |
| Pro | 90 days |
| Agency (coming soon) | 120 days |
After that, the source yap is removed from storage. Exports you've already downloaded are yours forever — only the original video is cleaned up.
You'll see a small expiry badge on each yap card so nothing sneaks up on you.
Revoking a board or link
Open the client page and click Revoke next to the board link, or Kill next to a one-off link. The link 404s immediately. If you want to issue a new one, click New link — the client's existing yaps in your inbox don't move.
What if a client opens a revoked link?
They'll see a clean "this link is no longer active" page with your contact email (if you set one), so they know who to ask.
