Exporting to MP4

The export from Yapflo is a single portrait MP4 with your cuts, captions, and hook overlay baked in.

Triggering an export

In the editor, click Export (top-right) or hit ⌘E. The button shows a live progress bar and a cancel option while the render runs.

Most yaps under a minute finish in under 30 seconds. Longer yaps scale roughly linearly.

What you get

• Portrait MP4, H.264, ready to upload to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn.
• Captions and hook overlays are burned in — no separate sidecar.

Stale exports

If you change captions or cuts after exporting, Yapflo marks the export as stale and the next Export click kicks off a fresh render. You won't accidentally download an old version.

Hit Cancel mid-render and Yapflo stops the job — no charge against your credit, no half-rendered file in your library.
